The Pre-hospital Anti-fibrinolytics for Traumatic Coagulopathy and Haemorrhage (PATCH) study is a multi-centre randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of pre-hospital treatment with tranexamic acid for severely injured patients at risk of acute traumatic coagulopathy. The PATCH study is funded by the Australian Government National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
